Encounter of Consecrated Men and Women
We are inviting you, and other members of your community, to a one day conference entitled “Being Alert, the Challenge of Consecrated Life” Journeying in the footsteps of God” to be held on the 23th June, in HAYES, Middlesex, West London UB3 2AB
Honestly speaking it is not just a conference but also a joyful encounter of all those in different forms of Consecrated Life. We will be listening to and also questioning Fr. José Cristo Rey Garcia, CMF who has been appointed by Pope Francis as a consultor to the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life in Rome. Sr. Marianne O’Connor, OSU will be also among the main speakers. Both will help us understand better “Keep Watch”, the Second Letter to Consecrated Men and Women, and evaluate our Year of Consecrated Life.
Our formidable team of parishioners and friends will make us feel at home during liturgies and meals. The Mass will be presided by Fr. Robert Marsh, OSA, newly appointed Vicar for Religious of the Westminster Diocese. And pop band Ooberfuse will be around with their inspiring songs.
The Conference - Encounter, in consultation with CoR of England and Wales, is being organised by the Claretian Missionaries, who maintain Institutes for Consecrated Life in several countries: like those in Rome, Madrid, Manila, Bangalore and new ones in Argentina and Nigeria.
We would like you to register as soon as possible, no later than the 5th June. This will help us to be well prepared and make the Conference - Encounter a success. Let us rejoice, wake up the world with our faith and laughter, together let us help each other fully awaken while journeying in the footsteps of God among the peoples of this world.
