After Jesus called the twelve, He gives the essential conditions of such calling. On top of everything is the way they ought to carry the evangelizing task—the proclamation of the Kingdom. The work of evangelization from the very start involves experience and witness. It is not enough to proclaim the message that Jesus is the Son of God and Savior. Our experience of Christ must significantly transform our life. Let us not forget that the calling comes from a loving, caring person who transforms and brings us to the fullness of life. If by our life, people experience the loving presence of God, then the work of evangelization has begun just as Jesus would want it.
