Commentary on the Gospel of
When we celebrate the Eucharist we are offering ourselves and Christ to God the Father. Do we do this routinely or is it positively affecting our lives? Do we pray often? Do we do good works but treat others unjustly? The Pharisees and the Scribes lorded it over the people on whom they set great burdens. What they taught was right but they did not practice it themselves. We are all members of the Church community through our baptism. Are we living our baptismal commitment?
