Commentary on the Gospel of
As the Liturgy of Holy Week unfolds day by day, we can try on the various roles in that greatest drama: we can step into the sandals of each of the characters in turn: Peter, because like him, we are all shaky in our commitment; the different Marys and do not forget Judas! The Liturgy does not allow us to forget him: He shows up much more often than most of the disciples. This gives us every chance to see ourselves in him. Step into his sandals, try to imagine the way his mind worked, and from that position speak to Jesus. It is the only way to bring to redemption the Judas in oneself.
