Commentary on the Gospel of
Jesus never clearly defined to us the Kingdom. He used parables to describe it. And in his parables, he always showed that our way of thinking fell short to the ways of the kingdom.
Mustard seed and yeast are too small to consider when we talk on big things, big projects, and big ideals. Yet, Jesus considers them when he talks on his biggest project: the kingdom. Mustard seed and yeast are small and yet they are present in our day to day living. It is like saying that the kingdom is present unnoticed. It is like saying that kingdom is active. It is like saying that the project of God is unfolding in our day to day living.
