Commentary on the Gospel of

Fr. George Vayaliparampil, cmf

Once Jesus decides to go Jerusalem, the place of his glorification, nothing can stop him. When he was rejected in a Samaritan village Jesus went to another village. He did not turn back or quarrel with those who refused him. Where are we? Are we waiting at the closed doors of our life? Do we see another better and wider road opened for us elsewhere in our lives? The Disciples wants to destroy the enemies or the ones who block the way of Jesus, but he is not interested in punishing them but goes forward with his mission. In our life there may be those who oppose us or reject us justice, but let us not take revenge on them, let us leave it to God and go forward to attain our goal of reaching God.
