Commentary on the Gospel of
“More will be asked of the one entrusted with more”, these words of Jesus directly affects us. We live in a world where we have many opportunities to learn the Word of God and practice and to share it with others with our words and life. We have ways and means, many opportunities to learn and preach, but we prefer to do and practice what is convenient and comfortable. As one author writes, ‘we have tamed (diluted) the Word of God which was hard as a tiger and made it a cat so that it fits to our situation’. If we practice and preach only the words that suit us we will have to be answerable to God. We have received the love, peace, forgiveness, compassion, etc from God do we share it?
