Commentary on the Gospel of

Sid Ching, cmf

Today’s feast invites us to reflect of what eternity really is though we ourselves are limited by time and space. We think according to our understanding of time as past, present and future either here or there. But God, who is the eternal now, has no past or future; neither is he limited in space for in him. In him, we all are, everything is. And in Mary, such fullness was anticipated; in her, the future, which is God’s present, was realized in her present.
