This was so beautiful! Pope Benedict looks so frail; I hope he stays in good hleath. I hope he's successful in bringing the Faith back to countries, like Spain, or Ireland, who have largely fallen away. The Pope's statement that we should not ignore people who need our help is challenging, because mostly we don't want to get involved, or bothered. Mom

I think their view is that sex is for procreation. AIDS viticms shouldn't breed their disease into their children. If sex is just for having kids, then the married people with AIDS wouldn't have sex. Also, some people believe that making condoms widely available increases the number of people who have sex, which is true in most cases. Sure, condoms lessen the chance of getting AIDS, but it's still a risk. So, if condoms make people have MORE sex by making them more comfortable to do it more often and with more people, then condoms would increase the problem of AIDS. I don't think this is true, but it's a point of view. He's not being senile, it's just part of the whole Roman Catholic thing.

It is interesting to see that Theo has rocekted up the charts.Perhaps in recognition of the blogger Theo Spark.Likewise, I expect we will see a few more Davids in New Zealand, Iain's and Guidos in Britain. And I expect thanks to the efforts of this most wonderful blog, it will now become socially acceptable once more, to call one's boy Adolf!

The Vatican stirred a dioplmatic maelstrom yesterday when it announced that it had lifted the excommunication of four rebel bishops, including the British Holocaust-denier Richard Williamson. The decree repealing the 20-year-old Vatican punishment, imposed after the traditionalist French Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre consecrated the four as bishops in defiance of the Pope's authority, was signed on Wednesday by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, the Prefect for the Congregation of Bishops. This coincided with the broadcast on Swedish state television of an interview with Mr Williamson in which the breakaway bishop denied the Holocaust."I believe there were no gas chambers... I think that 200,000 to 300,000 Jews perished in Nazi concentration camps but none of them by gas chambers," he told SVT television in an interview that was recorded in Germany last November. "There was not one Jew killed by the gas chambers. It was all lies, lies, lies!"Mr Williamson, 68, who is the rector of the Seminary of Our Lady Co-Redemptrix in La Reja, Argentina, is no stranger to controversy. He has endorsed "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion", a notorious anti-Semitic forgery, and claimed that Jews are bent on world domination. He supports conspiracy theories on the assassination of President Kennedy and the attacks on the Twin Towers in New York, and has accused the Vatican of being under the power of Satan.

Dementia (from Latin de- apart, away + mens mind ) is the progressive delcnie in cognitive function due to damage or disease in the body beyond what might be expected from normal aging. Although dementia is far more common in the geriatric population, it may occur in any stage of adulthood. This age cutoff is defining, as similar sets of symptoms due to organic brain dysfunction are given different names in populations younger than adulthood.Dementia is a non-specific illness syndrome (set of signs and symptoms) in which affected areas of cognition may be memory, attention, language, and problem solving. Higher mental functions are affected first in the process. Especially in the later stages of the condition, affected persons may be disoriented in time (not knowing what day of the week, day of the month, or even what year it is), in place (not knowing where they are), and in person (not knowing who they are or others around them).Symptoms of dementia can be classified as either reversible or irreversible, depending upon the etiology of the disease. Less than 10 percent of cases of dementia are due to causes which may presently be reversed with treatment. Causes include many different specific disease processes, in the same way that symptoms of organ dysfunction such as shortness of breath, jaundice, or pain are attributable to many etiologies. Without careful assessment of history, the short-term syndrome of delirium can easily be confused with dementia, because they have many symptoms in common. Some mental illnesses, including depression and psychosis, may also produce symptoms which must be differentiated from both delirium and dementia.

Come on Canon G, there's nothing wrong with fouincsg on particular aspects ! After all, BXVI got your attention, didn't he?! It's really about setting the agenda. As for the New' Evangelisation I think there's a tacit recognition that you can't assume any knowledge about God in those you are reaching out to kind of essential in preaching the Gospel to a post-Christian Europe. You either preach the Gospel to them, or let them preach a gospel to you.

I go to church to pisrae and thank the Risen and Glorified Lord Jesus Christ! Also to remember the following which tells in brief what it means to be a true Christian: When I say that I am a Christian I am not shouting that I am clean living. I am whispering that I was lost but now I'm found and forgiven. When I say I am a Christian I don't speak of this with pride. I am confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide. When I say that I am a Christian I am not trying to be strong. I am saying that I am weak and need His strength to carry on.When I say I am a Christian I am not bragging of success. I am admitting I have failed and need God to clean up my mess. When I say I am a Christian I am not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible but God believes I am worth it.When I say I am a Christian I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches so I call upon His name. When I say I am a Christian I am not holier than thou..I am a sinner who recieved God's grace a free gift to those who accept it.Easter is Resurrection Day but for a true Christian, EVERY DAY is Resurrection Day.I am so thankful.

You should aenttd a Catholic Bible study, where you can hear authoritative teaching, what the Christian Church has taught and believed for 2,000 years. All you will hear at a Protestant Bible study is what the leader of the group thinks a passage means, which will be totally opposite from what the leader of the next Protestant Bible study thinks it means. Catholicism means doctrinal truth. Christ told the first Catholic leaders, the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth , and whatsoever you bind upon earth is bound in heaven , and he who hears you hears me . Protestantism means doctrinal chaos. Which is why there are thousands of unauthorized conflicting manmade denominations of Protestantism, but only one Holy Catholic Church.

Never having been to Africa, I can only iimnage what the saying means to Africans, but, to me it addresses the universal need to reframe and find meaning in the hard times and to engage in and relish the good moments. Healing, healthy laughter can used to accomplish either goal.

I'd recommend you do go,though The Christian bible will not be the same as the Catholics.Christian Bible steuids are found in all denominations.Few differences you may find are there is no one to pray to besides God,it's a direct line to the Father in the name of His Son,they won't be praying to Mary or The Saints. There is no Purgatory found in scripture so they won't discuss that.Communion to the Christian is the representation of Christ Body and Blood, they don't believe it magically turns into the real thing. The pope is no more then a fellow believer and may consider him as a form of Idol worship. You can confess your sins to another, but they don't believe it's required to tell a priest, only to confess and repent and pray for forgiveness to God in Jesus name. There will be no repetitive mantra prayers or the use of rosaries or candle lighting. You will get an insight on Gods word which is important ,so yes go and learn and grow.

Basically no idea, but wouldn't it be poslsbie to remove the yellow registration tags from your bicycles and then go to the local police station and ask for registration as you have just brought these bikes to Japan from your home country Germany? Perhaps you even have some German "invoices" to proof that?It sounds easier that way than to go through the perhaps cumbersome process of re-issueing the registrations.Anyway, must have been a terrible experience for you - hope you are ok.

Catholicism is the only Christian Faith . They are lead in worship By the Pope who was given the Keys to Heaven From Jesus . Through Apostolic sueicsscon From Peter the First Pope they worship Jesus, And thru The Holy Tradition Of the Saints formed the Biblical doctrines, Such as the Trinity, Sunday service, Easter, And Christmas teach Grace alone for salvation, Did not remove books From the Bible but preserved the writings of the Jewish Old testament which the protestants threw out , Catholics want to worship Jesus with all 5 of their senses .Music for the ears,Incense for the nose,Statues and art for the eyes,Please pray a sincere prayer with all of your heart admitting to Jesus you are a sinner. Have full faith that His blood pays off all of your sins and accept His gift of everlasting life. And give your confession to a Priest Jesus never said to confess your sins to either him Or to the Father pray that God blesses you with peace. AmenThe truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much! Say this PrayerLord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;where there is hatred, let me sow love;where there is injury, pardon;where there is doubt, faith;where there is despair, hope;where there is darkness, light;and where there is sadness, joy.O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoledas to console;to be understood, as to understand;to be loved, as to love;for it is in giving that we receive,it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

Catholic is not Christian. Catholicism leads to eternal teromnt in hell, because catholicism teaches works for salvation, and that is a false gospel of works (Galatians 1:6-9) that is against JESUS'S free gift of salvation! And catholicism will not give anyone a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Jesus! So, you need to get away from catholicism, and instead, believe in JESUS for His free gift of salvation!Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much! And the Trinity is true! The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to hell, is by believing in Jesus for His free gift of salvation, believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for all our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe in Jesus for His free gift of salvation, and you will be in heaven, no matter what!Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus alone to save you! It is impossible to lose or leave salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).Please pray now: Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross to pay for my sins and that You rose from the dead, and I thank You for eternal life! You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die!
