Teachability
How wonderful it is to be taught by God, if possible, every moment of our lives! But the truth is, God is indeed, teaching us every moment; only that we fail to learn. If only we nurture within us the trait of teachability can we recognize the teachings of God that come our way. This teachability is all about an attitude of openness, vulnerability, as defines John Maxwell, a leadership expert: “Teachability is not so much about competence and mental capacity as it is about attitude. It is the desire to listen, learn, and apply. It is the hunger to discover and grow. It is the willingness to learn, unlearn, and relearn.”
In other words, it is the vulnerable openness to the movements of Grace. Such teachability brings us to God as well.
