God made a covenant with Abraham, in which He would be the Father of all. The Jews were to be the people of God. We are the people of od of the New Covenant. If we remain faithful to this Covenant we will have eternal life. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life; it is through him that we go to the Father. S Jesus my way in life?
