Commentary on the Gospel of

Ff. Alex Gobrin, cmf

The teachings of Jesus are often times provoking especially when they run against the values of the “world”. When the “world” says to us: hate, Jesus invites us to respect and forgive. When the “world says to us: revenge, Jesus invites to seek justice… These views provoke us and many of us reached to decide to follow Jesus’ way. But not all of us follow Jesus in the same force. Many are led by enthusiasm that sometimes dies out along the way. Many of us are tied to some obstacles while we do believe in Jesus teachings. Following Jesus is a constant journey, a constant and conscious fight to maintain enthusiasm and overcome obstacles. Following Jesus needs constancy, an attitude that we should build to become a habit. When Jesus following Jesus teachings becomes “habitual”, then it is flowing from within… from the heart.
